About this webinar series
Breast Cancer Care WA presents a free webinar series on breast cancer, sexuality, menopause and women’s health. This webinar will aim to empower you, educate you and provide you with the support, resources and knowledge to optimise your quality of life in relation to sexuality and menopause into the future.

This free series consists of 4 separate sessions - two on Wednesday 11 August and two on Wednesday 18 August. Each session will go for approximately an hour and will include a Q&A session with the presenter.

Alternatively, you can click into each individual session and register only for the sessions that are of interest to you. Once you register you will be sent a confirmation email containing your special link to access the webinar.
Four presentations in series
  • Wednesday 11 August - 1pm
    Menopause, cancer related treatment and the effect on sexuality.
    Clinical Sexologist Helena Green will discuss how menopause and cancer related treatment can affect sexuality and how to reduce the impact of this on relationships.

  • Wednesday 11 August - 2pm
    Medical management of menopausal symptoms
    Dr Lesley Ramage, Women's Health GP, will discuss the medical options for the treatment of menopausal symptoms and what support is available for women.

  • Wednesday 18 August - 1pm
    Psychological support and self-care for menopausal symptoms.
    Associate Professor Lesley Stafford, Clinical Psychologist specialising in breast and gynaecological cancer will discuss the psychological support and self-care options for dealing with menopausal symptoms.

  • Wednesday 18 August - 2pm
    Role of women’s health physiotherapist in sexual and menopausal health.
    Dr Judith Thompson, world leading expert in continence and women's health physiotherapy will discuss how physiotherapists who specialise in women's health can assist with women's sexual and menopausal health.
