Tom Mullane has been dedicated to the continued success of the eDiscovery Team at United Technologies and RTX since its inception over fifteen years ago. Prior to joining the eDiscovery & Investigations Team, Tom held a variety of positions in Information Technology, including Server Management, Security Operations, and Third Party Security Risk Assessment. Currently, he project manages all e-discovery activities at RTX, and consults with application owners to align business needs and E-Discovery requirements.
Tom holds a Master of Science in Information Assurance from Norwich University and a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from Boston University, and has earned both CISSP and CISM security certifications and CIPP/US and CIPP/E privacy certifications.

Over the last decade, Jennifer has also developed deep experience in the area of e-discovery and document management. Jennifer has managed virtually all aspects of discovery in the single plaintiff, multiparty and multidistrict litigation (MDL) contexts, including leading legal hold implementation and ongoing management, developing preservation strategies incorporating IT and HR functions, selecting and managing vendors, identifying and forensically collecting custodial and noncustodial data, training, overseeing and conducting quality control of large and diverse review teams, aiding in validation and production, coordinating nonparty discovery, taking and defending lay and expert depositions, working with experts to develop case-specific reports, and preparing exhibits for trial.

Jennifer also works with corporate executives to build comprehensive information governance programs, including record retention, defensible disposition, litigation hold management, communication management and preservation. She meets with key client personnel to analyze their business needs and prepare customized retention schedules and document retention and destruction policies. In addition, Jennifer assists in developing company-specific legal hold checklists and tracking mechanisms, as well as educates, trains and advises teams of professionals to implement such policies.

Patrick Butts, CEDS, IGP is Legal Operations and Information Governance Manager for Hilltop Securities in Dallas, Texas. Hilltop Securities is a Texas-based diversified financial services company, servicing clients from offices across the United States in Public Finance, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Structured Finance, Clearing Services, Commodities and Securities Lending.
In his role with Hilltop Securities, Patrick’s responsibilities are distributed between management of corporate legal related processes and practices; consultation with in-house and outside counsel regarding management of legal initiatives; integration of an Information Governance program, consisting of records management, information classification, risk management, security and privacy; supervising and managing the work flow and activities of the E-Discovery team and assisting with discovery for complex litigation, regulatory investigations and other disputes; leading the development of policies and procedures, training requirements and strategic vision for the E-Discovery program and platform; and collaboration with technology and business units on information governance.

After starting my career in accounting, internal audit and finance, I changed my career to the IT field and worked with in the administration of the Microsoft servers and desktop software with a Fortune 200 company. After 8 years of the server and desktop administration, I changed to the corporate forensic/eDiscovery field and consulted in the US, Europe, South America and Asia for 10 years. In 2014, I implemented an enterprise eDiscovery tool at an Atlanta based company and maintained it there for 4 years. In 2018, I started working at Aflac and in early 2020 Aflac implemented the Exterro eDiscovery tool using the Legal Hold, EDDM and Review modules. At Aflac, I have trained over 90 internal employees and the staff of our outside counsel how to use the Exterro system.

Michael joined Meta in March 2017 and has been working in case management throughout his tenure at the company. He is responsible for managing Meta matters throughout the EDRM lifecycle. Prior to joining Meta, Michael worked as a litigation paralegal specialist at Ropes & Gray LLP and has over 20 years of experience working in Legal.

David focuses his practice on e-discovery, privacy, information governance and cybersecurity. He advises clients on a broad range of strategic and tactical questions regarding data management and e-discovery and, in particular, on cross border discovery including the interplay of U.S. discovery obligations and non-U.S. data protection.

Victor Oppong Adu-Gyamfi, a former Mining Engineer from Ghana, now works at Progressive in Enterprise Security. He leads the Forensics and eDiscovery (FeD) team. He is passionate about data-driven risk management and uses Exterro to enhance regulatory compliance and digital trust in eDiscovery processes. Victor holds a BA in Applied Mathematics and an MBA in Operations Management and Information Systems Management from Cleveland State University.

Keith Turbesi is Senior Project Manager for the Hanover Insurance Group. With twenty-five years of experience, he is responsible for driving and implementing Information Governance strategy that aligns with the needs and goals for the Office of General Counsel. Ronald J. Hedges is the Principal of Ronald J. Hedges LLC. He served as a United States Magistrate Judge in the District of New Jersey for over 20 years. He speaks and writes on a variety of topics, many of which are related to electronic information, including procedural and substantive criminal law, information governance, litigation management, and the integration of new technologies such as artificial intelligence into existing information governance policies and procedures. Among other things, Ron is the chair of the Court Technology Committee of the Judicial Division of the ABA. He is also a member of the artificial intelligence task forces of the New Jersey and New York state bar associations.

Matthew J. Petersen, 20 years as a Special Agent in the Federal Bureau of Investigations. 18 of those years as a Certified Computer Analysis Response Team (CART) Forensic Examiner. Certified in Mac, Linux, Windows, memory analysis, PDA and Cell Phone Forensics. I have written three white papers for the FBI regarding Innocent Images - Peer to Peer examination, Recovery of deleted VM Images, and the Examination of the PLC from Wind Turbines. One of the last cases in the FBI I performed the examination and analysis of six wind turbines for the US vs Sinovel case in 2011. I have testified in Local, State and Federal and Military as an expert in computer forensics. I have been called to testify in Arizona, Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, and Wisconsin. In 2017, I retired from the FBI and migrated into the Corporate investigations in performing examination for E-Discovery, Insider Risk and CSIRT Investigations. I have used FTK Stand Alone, FTK Enterprise, FTK E-Discovery, FTK Imager, Regisrty Viewer, PRTK and Exterro E-Discovery. We utilize the strength of Exterro IPP in a MS Purview platform, and have performed E-Discovery in other platforms as well as utilzed other forensic tools.
