    Anne Moss Rogers is a TEDx & suicide prevention speaker who lost a son to suicide. . She started a blog, EmotionallyNaked.com, that has reached millions and chronicled her family’s tragedy in a newspaper article that went viral.

    She has been featured in the New York Times and was the first suicide loss survivor ever invited to speak at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH).

    Has over 20 years of experience in public, private, and residential K12. She has served in many roles including teacher, program manager, director, and state-level educational technologist/digital transformation evangelist.

    Dr Robert Avossa, Ed.D.
    President at K-12 Leadership Matters
    Dr. Robert Avossa is the president of K-12 Leadership Matters LLC. Having spent his career dedicated to public school education, Dr. Avossa now provides strategic support and guidance to school district leaders and their teams with on focus on improving outcomes for ALL students.

    Before founding K-12 Leadership Matters, Dr. Avossa most recently served as the Superintendent of Schools for Palm Beach County, the 10th largest district in the country with approximately 200,000 students, 21,000 employees, and an annual budget exceeding $2.6 billion.

    Prior to joining Palm Beach County Schools in 2015, Dr. Avossa served as the Superintendent of Fulton County Schools in Georgia for 4 years, where he was responsible for 101 schools, 96,000 students, and 14,000 employees.

    During his time at both Palm Beach County and Fulton County Schools, each district achieved dramatic academic performance gains, decreased dropout rates, and earned the highest graduation rates in its state.

    Dr. Avossa also served five years as an executive leader for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools in North Carolina, and 10 years as a teacher and principal in Florida.

    Dean Wilson Ed.D.
    Husband, Father, Former Principal, Current Higher Ed Administrator, Speaker, Suicide Prevention Advocate, #Instructure Consultant, “Choose To Be A Champion”
    Originally from Ogden Utah, Dean served as a teacher in Tooele County School District. He moved to the Uintah Basin and worked as a character education and history teacher.

    He transitioned to administration and served as an Assistant Principal, Principal, and Assistant Superintendent. He also served as a Vice President of a Technical College and Executive Director of a K-12 Charter School.

    Currently, Dean is the Director of Student Services for the Uintah County School District. Dean also works as an educational consultant helping schools to track and report mastery of standards as well as develop systems of support for PLCs, RTI, PBIS, and social and emotional learning. Dean completed his EdD in Educational Leadership from the University of Wyoming.
