About
Identity verification is one of the more complex aspects of customer onboarding for gaming companies, with as many as 71% of gambling operators believing that identity verification has become more complex over the previous three years.

On the consumer side however, just 22% of consumers believe that operators are actually conducting identity verification, it becomes clear that this is an area of the customer’s onboarding journey that requires closer attention.

That’s why we’ve teamed up with GBG, the experts in digital identity, to present this special webinar ‘Winning the Onboarding Race’.

GBG is one of the foremost experts in identity verification and fraud prevention in the gaming industry, and will analyse during the webinar where the operators may be going wrong, discuss how to create a seamless player onboarding experience, and how to keep fraudulent activities at bay.

The panel, moderated by Rebekah Jackson (Business Development Director at GBG), will also attempt to lay out the most important aspects in having a customer onboarding experience that builds and maintains trust with the player.

Whilst also discussing:

The idea of ‘good friction’, and how a stringent onboarding process can improve onboarding rates

Peace of mind that data is being appropriately handled and maintained

How can an operator re-frame compliance internally, to function as a revenue generation or protection measure rather than a cost

SBC Webinars & GBG will also cover affordability checks, whether operators are doing enough to quell underage and problem gamblers, and whether affordability/source of wealth checks are enough in their current form
