December 7th is the 80th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, and the efforts of the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency is still ongoing. To honor missing service members, an Interpretive Center at the American Battle Monument's Commission's Honolulu Memorial, co-located with the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific-NCA/VA, is under construction. However, it is proving challenging because of its location on the edge of an extinct volcano and the cultural/historical/environmental protection requirements. This webinar will discuss these challenges.
