Shelter Personnel Track

Attendees of this track will be guided through different Fear Free® shelter concepts and techniques. There are beneficial sessions for any individual working in or with an animal shelter or rescue, such as feline communication; identifying fear, anxiety, stress, and frustration in pets; and tips for educating and communicating with the public. Presented by experts in shelter medicine, these sessions are realistic, science-based, and motivating to make your shelter the best it can possibly be not only for the pets but for the staff and volunteers, as well. Each session includes a live Q&A portion at the end of the presentation to address any questions you might have. Completion of these sessions qualifies for up to 8 hours of RACE CE.

Register to learn about the most relevant animal shelter practices and innovations happening in shelters today. All sessions will be available on demand starting on 2/21 through 5/18.

To earn on demand RACE CE, you are required to watch the session in its entirety and complete the quiz with an 80% or higher score. Access the quiz link in the handouts section of the session. Click on the rectangular icon next to the speaker symbol on the video player window.
