About this Meeting

We will build upon our discussion during our most recent Council meetings, which shed light on the state of The Project Economy and how our organizations are collectively responding to the immediate crisis and re-imagining how they conduct business. Our September meeting will expand on these insights to explore how the global pandemic acted as the catalyst to expedite change and transformation across global organizations, and how leaders are accelerating to stay relevant and win the future.

Today, leaders must increase the speed of decision making, while improving productivity, using technology and data in new ways, and accelerating the scope and scale of innovation. As the world forges a path forward from COVID-19, an increasingly VUCA environment — one characterized by volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity — demands new solutions.

It requires deeper organizational and cultural change than merely embracing new approaches for value delivery. And it demands new ways of working. Organizations today must move beyond organizational agility to become gymnastic –combining resilience, innovative techniques, efficiency in execution and strategic focus to achieve outstanding performance.

Among other topics, we will come together to explore pressing themes:

• Resetting or transforming the business strategy to maintain relevancy and competitive edge.
• Achieving business operational efficiency during challenging times while continuing to innovate.
• Reskilling and upskilling the workforce and investing in the development of new “Power Skills” – such as collaborative leadership - as key enablers to meet customer demand shifts.
• Embracing and fostering the changing workforce structures, with an emphasis on greater diversity and inclusion in a changing workforce.
• Learning and exploring the new ways of working, including leading teams in distributed environments and unlocking opportunities for virtual learning and development.

We look forward to exploring the emerging trends, opportunities and challenges with each of you.
