About
To celebrate World Antimicrobial Awareness Week 2020, Resistomap is inviting world-leading researchers and experts to offer insights based on their work on antibiotic resistance in the environment, and to discuss best strategies to avoid further emergence and spread of antibiotic resistance. The webinar aims to improve public awareness and understanding of antibiotic resistance and its environmental impact.

My research group works with microbiology and microbial ecology, primarily focusing on investigating antibiotic resistance and interactions in bacterial communities through large-scale experimental work, metagenomics and bioinformatics. I did my PhD with Prof. Joakim Larsson and a post-doc with Prof. Jo Handelsman at University of Wisconsin-Madison.
