Sandfire Resources
Karl Simich - Managing Director
With no debt and over $240 million in cash, mid-tier copper-gold producer Sandfire Resources (ASX: SFR, market cap: ~$750M) is ideally placed to capitalise on the nascent recovery in base metals. Underpinned by low-cost production from its high-grade DeGrussa mine in Western Australia, Sandfire is already well advanced with plans to bring two new copper mines on-stream, in Botswana and the USA. Plus, the company’s exciting new A4 copper discovery in Botswana, located just 8km from its T3 development project, is beginning to attract growing investor attention as Sandfire drills out a new satellite resource.

Centaurus Metals
Darren Gordon - Managing Director
News this week that Jubilee Mines founder Kerry Harmanis had emerged as a substantial 5% shareholder capped a stellar six-months for revitalised Brazilian-focused resource developer, Centaurus Metals (ASX: CTM, market cap: ~$65M). Centaurus acquired the large-scale Jaguar nickel sulphide project from Vale in August last year, and has since wasted no time in transforming the company into a potentially significant new player in the global nickel sulphide space. A major resource drilling program, currently nearing completion, has delivered spectacular results and a maiden JORC Mineral Resource estimate is on track for release by mid-year.

Breaker Resources
Tom Sanders - Executive Chairman
Breaker Resources (ASX: BRB, market cap: ~$60M) has established a one million-ounce gold resource just 100km from Kalgoorlie. It is now focused on growing this inventory, with numerous high-grade lodes already discovered below the resource. The mineralised system has been outlined over 9km and drilling is now targeting shallow gold along strike and high-grade gold at depth.

Strandline Resources
Luke Graham - Managing Director
Strandline Resources (ASX: STA, market cap: ~$55.5M) is on the cusp of developing the large Coburn mineral sands project in WA. Coburn recently won the all-important tick of approval from independent experts, who found it was technically and economically robust. And it has binding offtake agreements covering two-thirds of its forecast revenue. Strandline is also preparing to develop the Fungoni mineral sands project in Tanzania, with debt funding arrangements well advanced and offtake contracts in place.
