Highly-regarded TSX.V-listed explorer Kincora Copper is in the midst of a potentially transformational drilling program at the Trundle Copper-Gold Porphyry Project, located in the Macquarie Arc of the Lachlan Fold Belt in NSW – Australia’s foremost porphyry region.

Trundle is a brownfields project that lies less than 30km from China Molybdenum Company’s world-class Northparkes Copper-Gold Mine, which has total endowment (past production and current resources) of 5.5Moz of gold and 4.5Mt of copper.

Kincora commenced a maiden drilling program at Trundle in late April, with the first hole intersecting multiple mineralised zones, including a near surface high-grade gold-copper skarn and adjacent porphyry, and a second drill hole recently completed. Initial assays are expected in the coming weeks, with the 6-hole, 3800m program providing news flow and share price catalysts for the next couple of months.

The highly-regarded Kincora team has an exceptional discovery track-record, with members of the Board and Management teams leading the discovery of the Cadia copper-gold deposits in NSW and the Reko Diq copper-gold deposit in Pakistan, amongst others.

Kincora’s exploration program at Trundle has grabbed the attention of the Australian investment community through its JV partner, RareX (ASX: REE), which has a 35% stake in the Trundle Project and a 9% stake in Kincora.
