Both applications bring their own challenges when it comes to mounting systems and we will explore how developers and EPCs can anticipate and eliminate inefficiencies and difficulties during the mounting installation phase and ensure their mounting systems remain durable and reliable throughout the project’s entire lifecycle.
Joining us for this session on all things mounting systems will be Ciaran Murphy and Lars Kremke from K2 Systems. They will introduce us to K2’s new ground-mount system for the utility-scale market, Pi-Rack, which supports all standard racking layouts and module orientations. And they will showcase K2’s Carport V system, a modular system optimized for larger modules and asymmetrical layouts.
But it’s not just about individual projects, it’s about mounting systems that can be adapted for different use cases, module types and sizes, weather conditions, roofs, substructures, and still adhere to local regulations. The session will explore all these requirements installers must deal with when considering mounting systems throughout Europe.
We’ll learn about the important role mounting systems play in extending project life cycles, as well as proper cable and coating material management, and how developers can opt for features such as screw-free module mounting to make installation easier, safer, and less labor-intensive across multiple markets and use cases.
