About
Regularly working with spreadsheets for solar project and portfolio management can be challenging, inefficient, and hinder collaboration efforts and transparency. Until recently, most project development documents were kept in separate silos, updates were difficult to share, and important changes were sometimes missed altogether.

That picture is changing for the solar industry with the introduction of project management software. With ATLAS, a portfolio management software, FTC Solar is promising to offer the solar industry a “single point of truth” solution. The software allows for project data to be managed in one place, facilitates cash flow and budgeting, and collaboration is enhanced between departments and even with partners outside of the organization, such as suppliers and subcontractors.

In this pv magazine Webinar, Philip Lonappan, Manager of Software Engineering at FTC Solar will provide an overview of the ATLAS software and discuss its features, from seamless document sharing and reliable notification service to customization. The discussion will also focus on how solar portfolio management software can be implemented across existing organization environments to increase productivity and collaboration amongst teams and reduce wasted time.

Joining Philip is Jennifer Weinstein, Senior Director of Corporate Operations at Summit Ridge Energy. Jennifer will give a high-level overview of how the national developer uses Atlas to manage its documents and create the all-important single point of truth for effective project management.
