About
As the relevance of BESS continues to grow, the need to better understand operational risks and manage performance is paramount. However, while solar assets are monitored around the clock, operation and maintenance of batteries is still at an early stage.

Since battery management systems provide limited support in reducing downtime and preventing premature degradation, independent battery monitoring is touted as the missing piece of the puzzle towards simplified ownership, improved performance, and increased profitability.

Join this pv magazine Webinar to learn how BESS monitoring can help in anomaly detection and improved utilization. Claudius Jehle, founder and CEO of volytica diagnostics GmbH, will explain BESS stress factors and causes of failure, as well as the importance of evaluation of battery field data using real life examples.

The attendees will also get insights into what needs to be considered before and after commissioning of the BESS. Arthur Claire, Head of Technology at Sinovoltaics, will provide an overview of quality defects found during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and the importance of visual inspection and functional tests.

Vincenzo Putignano, head of global O&M BESS at Enel Green Power, will also be joining to discuss the challenges of managing a growing BESS fleet, as the Italian renewable energy corporation looks to grow its battery fleet to more than 3 GW by 2024.

pv magazine Webinar content:
• Challenges of BESS fleet management
• Quality defects found during FAT
• BESS stress factors and causes of failure explained
• Battery diagnostics, real-life examples
• Q&A

We encourage you to take part in the discussion and ask questions, which can be submitted beforehand or through a chat window during the webinar. pv magazine global editor Marija Maisch will be the moderator of this webinar.
