German renewables monitoring company meteocontrol claims its newly launched software suite, mc Assetpilot, can standardize the mundane tasks that asset managers and O&M companies must consider in order to make sound investment and operational decisions. In this pv magazine Webinar, they demonstrate the tool’s use cases.
Can a technology tool make a difference for a solar asset manager’s workflow? Or aid them in making investment decisions? Or help them identify and avoid risks?
At this year’s Intersolar event in Munich, meteocontrol launched a software solution called mc Assetpilot, which seeks to give an answer to these questions.
The new tool is intended to help financial asset managers and O&M players – particularly those looking to scale while enabling better overview of daily tasks, responsibilities, and workflows of a new business field.
The company says its cloud-based product can monitor, manage, and enhance asset performance throughout the entire life cycle – thanks to a rationalized financial modelling and forecasting approach and seamless cashflow management. Guy de Macedo, product manager of cloud applications at meteocontrol, will explain how the tool works and what it can do.
For instance, those who already use meteocontrol’s VCOM monitoring solution can integrate it with mc Assetpilot and effortlessly control how your projects are developing: are you on track or do you need to correct course?
Next, Thomas Neff, senior business development manager Europe at meteocontrol, will go through some practical reasons to use the tool in day-to-day operations. A former asset manager himself, Neff can provide a testimonial on what hindered him and advice on how the standardization features mc Assetpilot offers can help Asset Managers improve their performance directly.
Finally, Neff and de Macedo will both be on hand to answer any questions webinar attendees may have about the technology.
