Workshop option #1: This workshop is for PSHE education leads and teachers planning and delivering drug and alcohol education in primary schools. It will explore what makes effective, age-appropriate learning for primary pupils growing up in modern day Britain and how utilising positive social norms can support learning. You will consider the foundational knowledge and skills needed by younger pupils to stay safe and healthy, manage pressure, influence and seek support and how these can be developed across the primary phase. It will also provide you with an introduction of how to use our new lesson plans to inform planning and practice.
