PSHE Association Subject Specialist
Anne has extensive experience of planning and delivery of PSHE education provision including whole-school leadership of personal development and wellbeing and management of pastoral provision.

Since joining the PSHE Association in 2015, Anne has designed training and resources on topics as diverse as character education, counter-extremism, relationships and sex education, and mental health and emotional wellbeing. She has a special interest in PSHE in initial teacher education and is the main facilitator of our training on PSHE’s contributions to independent school inspection.

A qualified nutritional therapist, Anne also has an interest in natural health and yoga. She passionately believes in developing people’s capacity to promote their own wellbeing.

Liz taught PSHE education for 5 years before joining the Association and firmly believes in the importance of quality PSHE education for all young people. She is passionate about global education and has worked with schools in over 20 countries — sharing best practice and collaborating on international, cross-curricular projects which help students from all over the world connect, work together and celebrate their cultural diversity. Liz has completed a Masters in Education, which focused on policy and the power of language, as well as on how to deliver difficult topics safely and effectively in the classroom.
