Parents are generally very supportive of their children learning about topics such as mental and physical health, healthy relationships and staying safe – but don’t always know how this is covered in schools.

PSHE education works best as a partnership between parents and schools, so our panel will discuss the opportunity to engage parents with this vital aspect of the curriculum and complement what’s happening at home, while meeting new requirements to engage parents about relationships and sex education.

PSHE Association CEO Jonathan Baggaley is joined by Sarah Hannafin from the NAHT and Vicki Shotbolt from ParentZone. The session is suitable for anyone working in KS1-4 settings.

NAHT is the national union for head teachers.
