Winning Difficult Conversations: Skills to Strengthen Your Relationships and Results

Wed, Dec 8, 2021 · 9:00 AM · Central Time (US & Canada)
About This Webinar

Most days we find ourselves navigating challenging conversations in both our professional and personal lives. You may be interacting with an employee who is performing below expectations, avoiding that tough talk with a peer, or dealing with a variety of other topics. We often tolerate rather than tackle these situations or go in without getting a positive outcome. Sometimes the conversation seems to “go just fine” but we don’t see any real change that comes out of it. This workshop will provide an interactive learning experience with a practical five-step model and time to apply it, so that you can raise your competence and confidence when engaging others in difficult conversations, and enhance the quality of your relationships!

Agenda
  • Understand the value of strong conversation skills for relationship building
  • Apply a five-step model when having difficult conversations
  • Learn other skills and tips to make all of your conversations more engaging and action oriented
  • Create a plan to help continue your learning beyond the workshop!

She started her career in her hometown of New York City, digging into a variety of organizational challenges as a consultant at Aon Consulting and Deloitte and Touche.

In 2012, Bonnie realized she wanted to focus on helping people, teams and organizations across industries and a variety of business challenges, so she left her last corporate leadership role to focus on consulting, facilitation, speaking, training, and leadership coaching. Most of Bonnie’s time is spent working with high performing global organizations.

Bonnie has tapped into her love of learning and sharing knowledge by teaching at University of Denver and The University of Colorado at Denver, writing articles for Forbes online, and volunteering as a career coach with Dress for Success.
