One Big Beautiful Bill Act was passed by the House of Representatives on May 22, 2025, passed by the Senate on July 1, 2025 incorporating the Senate manager’s amendment to HR 1. On July 3, 2025 the House passed the Senate bill sending it to the President’s desk for signature to enact into final law. President Trump signed the bill into law on July 4, 2025. OBBBA made significant changes by making permanent many of the provisions of TCJA. We will discuss the details for individuals and share examples.
