Hairstylists are uniquely positioned to educate their clients on skin cancer, especially skin cancers on the face, neck and scalp. This program unites dermatologists and hair professionals to potentially save lives through education on skin cancer and discussing how stylists can guide clients to a board certified dermatologist for evaluation and treatment of suspicious lesions. This program will increase your understanding of skin cancer, your ability to recognize lesions suspicious for skin cancer, and your confidence in discussing suspicious lesions with clients.
