Future Leaders: Phil Horvath, Floyd's 99 Barbershop

Phil Horvath is currently the President & COO of Floyd's 99 Barbershop, an industry-leading barbershop chain, with 125 locations in 12 different states.

He started his career at his family’s business a chain of 45 hair salons where he developed a deep love for the business and strong respect for its professionals. After getting a taste of the incredible passion and spirit of salon culture, he knew he wanted to pursue a career in the beauty industry. Prior to joining Floyd’s, Horvath held positions in the Supercuts division of Regis Corporation and spent 17 years at Ulta Beauty where he served in various executive leadership roles in both salon and retail operations. During his tenure, he helped Ulta round out their salon services and grow their stores from 70 to over 900. Most recently, he served as President and COO of Hair Cuttery, the largest privately held hairdressing chain in the United States with over 700 locations.

At Floyd’s, along with navigating the post COVID-19 world, he will work to cement the brand into a premium category in the male hair space and look for ways to amplify the training, expertise and vibe of this emerging brand.
