Future Leaders: Mentorship Circle with Rachel Jud

Throughout her career, Rachel has had the opportunity to serve in a wide variety of roles in account sales (BSG), sales management (BSG), marketing/branding (BSG), service operations (JCPenney Salon and Sephora inside JCPenney) and executive leadership (Performance Beauty Group for Lilly Lashes and Babe Original). Rachel has also served on the Professional Beauty Association’s Foundation Board and currently serves as Chair. Rachel’s genuine love of people and curiosity have been integral parts of her journey within the professional beauty industry. The opportunity to serve and ideate with others is one of the most rewarding aspects of the roles she’s filled.

Rachel has a proven history of building and leading stellar teams who have achieved amazing wins. Some of her top career achievements today include #licensedtocreate campaign for CosmoProf, supporting artists to enter and win NAHA, as well as the less glamourous achievement of navigating her divisions through the pandemic and even bankruptcy. If you ask Rachel, it’s the hard moments and difficult roads where you learn the most. Rachel is tenacious and admittedly loves being told that something is impossible because it drives her to think differently and find creative solutions.

Rachel views her work as more significant than just a job or even a career. Her family is firmly at the center of my “why” and she strives to be an example to her daughters, 9 and 5 years old, of what is possible when you put your heart, your mind and your full effort behind your dreams.
