    Taylore graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2013 with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications. After spending 7 years working in the family business, she now serves as the CEO of Ashtae Products, a professional haircare brand that sells products to licensed cosmetologists across the U.S., Canada, and Caribbean Islands.

    She also manages TayloreMade, LLC, a property management company for residential short and long-term rentals. Taylore was recognized as the SBA 2020 Young Entrpreneur of the Year and one of Triad Business Journal’s 20 in their 20's.

    Melanie Taylor
    International Educator
    Shortly after graduating Augusta Technical College, Melanie joined Jazzy Hair Studio as an entry-level hairstylist. After years of hard work, dedication, astounding clientele growth and perfecting her craft; Melanie decided to begin her journey as an international educator for Ashtae Products, Inc in 2006. In June of 2008, Melanie and her business partner stepped out on faith and opened Unique Vision Hair Salon in Augusta, Georgia. She continued on solo to create and open The Stepping Stone, a small business incubator in the city. awards include The Centered Woman Award of Excellence, CSRA Business League Woman Entrepreneur of the Year, among many others. She also serves on the Advisory Board of local cosmetology schools.
