About
PRO and CRAS.

Two innocent Latin words meaning FOR and TOMORROW.

Put them together into one word "procrastinate" and you get "for tomorrow".

We often identify procrastination as a productivity challenge.

But it's not all bad news...

Good procrastination, also known as productive procrastination, refers to delaying less important or less urgent tasks in favour of more important or more difficult ones.

For example, if you need to write a report but are struggling with it, you might procrastinate by doing other things that need to be done anyway but aren't as difficult or important. This type of procrastination can actually be beneficial because it allows you to use your time more effectively and improve the quality of your report.

Bad procrastination, on the other hand, is the type of procrastination that most people think of when they hear the word. This is when you put off important tasks or responsibilities and instead engage in activities that are unproductive or even detrimental to your goals. For example, spending hours scrolling through social media instead of studying for an exam.

Ugly procrastination? Maybe when it goes hand in hand with perfectionism and the one feeds off the other?

In this free 17-minute webinar let's look at how we can make good procrastination work for us and ways in which we can beat the bad and ugly versions.
