About
Over the past half century, few things have been as disruptive to the world economy as the rise of China to a dominant world power. Most recently, the growth of the 'sleeping giant' has been fuelled by its ability to go from imitator to innovator - a journey any growing company must follow as well.

To tell us more about this, we have invited George S. Yip. a Thinkers50 Hall of Famer, Professor of Marketing and Strategy, and author of China's Next Strategic Advantage: From Imitation To Innovation. His key research concerns are how, in the era of globalisation, companies can no longer develop strategies on a country-by-country basis but need to develop globally integrated strategies that leverage industry globalisation drivers.

The Thinkers50 member will join this Masterclass to share his world leading knowledge on how China has grown from a developing country to one of the worlds strongest superpowers. He will take focus on what makes individual companies more efficient, what has enabled them to succeed, and what you can take away and implement from that.

Reserve your free seat for this Masterclass with George Yip on the 15th of September, where you among many things will learn…

- Why are Chinese companies more efficient?
- Why are Chinese companies more likely to take risks and what Western companies could learn from this?
- Why does China have advantages for innovation?

The Global Masterclass Series is hosted by Presidents Summit - Northern Europe's leading business conference. Our annual conference attracts 3,000+ executives, entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers that benefit from lectures by some of the world’s foremost business experts and have the opportunity to network with a diverse, high-level international audience.
