June 29th, 2020 - The Polk County Progressive Democratic Caucus (PCPDC), in partnership with the Polk County DEC, is hosting the Polk County Progressives Candidate Forum from 6:30 to 9:00 on the evening of Monday, June 29th as an online event. Ten Democratic candidates for US House and Florida Senate and House districts that touch on Polk county, and for Polk County Commission districts are scheduled to participate in the event.

Participation in the Forum was not as simple as saying “yes” to an invitation. Each candidate first completed a candidate questionnaire. You can see the PCPDC ratings of these candidates and review their policy positions at https://progressivepolk.com.

The Forum has turned into a community affair for Polk County Democrats, with the Polk County Democratic Executive Committee and ten county clubs and caucuses signing on to partner with the PCPDC.
