About
Striding across the southern horizon from dusk til dawn on winter nights, the constellation of Orion is a reassuringly familiar sight. Yet astrophotographer Tom O’Donoghue has captured a different side of the Hunter, his award-winning Orion Mega Mosaic revealing the many spectacular deep-sky nebulae that lie within this extended region of the sky.

In this talk Tom will tell the story of how this remarkable large-scale image was captured and processed to reveal bright and lesser-known dim objects like the Flame Nebula, the Horsehead Nebula and the Orion Nebula in unprecedented detail

In the second part of the Masterclass there is a Q&A with Tom O'Donoghue and Editor Chris Bramley.

All registrants will have access to the Masterclass recording once the event has ended and will be able to watch this recording for a maximum of 10 times.
