About
Pre-Employment Psychological Evaluations (PEPE) are an essential component of vetting new candidates in terms of their suitability for police and public safety positions. However, if not done properly, a PEPE can expose your agency to unnecessary risk. In this presentation, Dr. Schlosser will help police leaders know (1) what to expect with regard to the PEPE process, (2) who is qualified to perform a PEPE, (3) how to recruit and develop good candidates for your agency, (4) about Conditional Offers of Employment (COE) and how they impact what you can and can’t ask candidates, and (5) the possible outcomes of a PEPE.
