If you've been weighing an irrigation upgrade and cost is what keeps stopping you, the assumption most growers make is that their options are limited — government programs, loans, or waiting until the numbers work on their own. For a lot of operations, none of those paths have moved fast enough.
What most growers don't know is that there's another source of funding that exists outside of government programs entirely. It's not a loan. Nothing to pay back. And it's already helped farms across the country move forward on irrigation projects they'd been putting off for years.
In Partner Power: Corporate Collaborations for Growth, Netafim walks you through how this funding works, what it takes to qualify, and what the process looks like from first conversation to completed project. The focus is on giving you a clear, honest picture of whether this is a fit for your operation — and what to do if it is.
In this webinar, you'll learn:
-Where this funding comes from and why it exists
-What types of irrigation projects qualify and what the requirements look like
-What growers who've been funded have in common
-How the process works from eligibility to installation
-What you can realistically expect in terms of cost offset and timeline
Whether you've looked into irrigation funding before and hit dead ends, or you're just starting to explore your options, this session will give you a complete picture of a funding path most growers haven't considered yet.
Michael (Mike) McRee
Dairy Farmer & SDI‑E Leader
Michael McRee is the owner of Michael McRee Farming and Triangle M Dairy in Chowchilla, California. His farming operations include approximately 750 acres of corn/wheat, 650 acres of tomatoes, 600 acres of alfalfa, and 220 acres of almonds. The forage grown on his farms feeds about 2,000 cows across two dairy operations in the Central Valley.
Michael adopted subsurface drip irrigation (SDI‑E) because it provides the most optimal and efficient way to deliver water and nutrients. Implementing Netafim’s SDI‑E solution has given him precise control to improve crop production and resource efficiency.
He is widely recognized for his leadership in sustainable agriculture:
2017 Conservation Agriculture Farmer Innovator award from the CASI Center
2020 Outstanding Community Impact Award from the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy, shared with Sustainable Conservation, Netafim, and De Jager
