During the COVID-19 pandemic, the federal government has provided a historic amount of aid to states. This aid came in many forms – enhancements to existing programs and the creation of new programs – and has varying requirements and spend-by dates. This session will focus on how states are optimizing various funding streams, managing the spikes in spending, and planning to transition when the dollars expire.
