Roger Mader teaches Complexity & Creativity, Engagement and Leading & Influencing in the Corporate Residency MBA program at the Dalhousie University Rowe School of Business. He teaches Strategic Innovation in Product & Service Design in the Interaction Design masters program at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. His student teams have designed breakthrough solutions for Accenture, Amex, Capital One, Chase Digital, Citi, Deloitte, Google, Goldman Sachs, Johnson & Johnson, McKinsey, Northwestern Mutual, NYU Langone, St. Joseph’s Health, and SY Partners.

His program on Design Thinking is certified by Illinois Tech. He chaired Design Thinking for Rutgers University executive education. He led the faculty for Digital Marketing for the University of South Florida Muma School of Business. He guest lectures at NYU/Stern on marketing, Harvard Business School on scenario forecasting, Lawrence Tech, the College for Creative Studies, Parsons/New School, and his alma mater, Northwestern University, on applied methods of innovation.

His book, Purposeful Enterprise, explores the transformative impact on the organization, customers and communities when organizations seek to serve more than the profit motive. He is working on 4D: a team guide for applied design to drive customer-centered growth, and a study of the features of highgrowth ventures, The Davinci Co. Roger raised his sons Cole and Everett in Manhattan. They convene in their legacy home in Mader’s Cove, Nova Scotia to build new memories among the islands of Mahone Bay.
