The science behind sustainable diets continues to be much debated as to what constitutes a sustainable diet that is both environmentally sound and nutrient rich. As governments continue to come under pressure to reflect science-based recommendations in policy, this session will explore the latest research into what makes a sustainable diet, as well as consider how government can translate this into policy, and what lessons can be learnt from other areas of government policy, like the sugar tax.
