Across the maritime industry, digitization has been accelerating as fleet and vessel owners respond to new climate and safety regulations requiring industry segments to maximize efficiency in their operations and comply with emerging environment standards. This is certainly the case in the commercial fishing industry, where fleet operators face increased competition and new challenges that digital technologies can help alleviate.
With Intelsat's FlexMaritime multi-layered, high-throughput network, commercial fishing operators can keep their vessels and crew reliably connected anywhere at sea. Learn how FlexMaritime enables:
• Operational Efficiencies: Remote diagnostics, eNavigation updates, fuel consumption optimization, and weather updates.
• Regulatory Compliance: Real-time catch reporting, high-quality video surveillance, and anti-piracy Vessel Monitoring System (VMS).
• Crew Communications: Web browsing, email and messaging, large file transmission, two-way video, and high-quality voice calling.
