    Kerrie Forster
    CEO, The Workboat Association
    After 17 years working both on/offshore within various maritime industries, Kerrie is an industry Consultant and CEO of the Workboat Association - “The trade association for Workboat Owners, Operators, Stakeholders and Professionals.”

    Once a workboat vessel Master, he has substantial offshore experience onboard CTVs, Survey Vessels, Dive support and Anchor Handlers. Kerrie spent a number of years managing a fleet of workboats for an International company based in the Netherlands and has gained experience from working across the globe.
    Kerrie has a strong background in promoting a well-accepted safety culture, responsible work ethics and cross organisation understanding. He has designed QHSE documentation, systems/ controls and has led significant incident and accident investigations. Organising and providing training and technical advice to on/offshore workforces, he is an ISM lead auditor, certified in the International Maritime Dangerous Goods code and has developed and implemented ISO/OHSAS/IMO certification of various company Safety Management Systems.
    Currently living in Rotterdam NL, Kerrie actively represents the Workboat Industry and wider Offshore Contracting Sector speaking at and Chairing working groups and conferences, providing guidance and research to many National and International publications, campaigns and Government strategies. Kerrie is motivated in supporting all industry stakeholders from Regulators to Apprentices.

    Andy Page - Moderator
    Managing Director, Chartwell Marine
    A Chartered Engineer, Andy Page is Managing Director of Chartwell Marine, a Naval Architectural consultancy business which supports boat builders and vessel operators worldwide. In addition to this, Andy Page is the Chairman of the Workboat Association Technical Working Group, responsible for leading the way in industry decarbonisation.

    For several years, Andy worked for a large high-speed vessel boat builder and repairer as head naval architect and general manager. The design organisation supported both their UK South Coast & East Coast Facilities as well as providing design services to the wider market. Andy headed up the design team, which at its peak had multiple naval architects and marine engineers working worldwide. The team were responsible for designing several craft ranging from small commercial ribs to large high-speed offshore catamarans. Their work took them across the world, with projects in Australia, Brazil, Taiwan and most significantly the USA.

    Following these exciting years Andy formed Chartwell Marine Ltd, to operate independently. Chartwell Marine are an award-winning pioneer in next generation vessel design and are responsible for a number of innovative and market leading projects including, but not limited to, the Chartwell 24 hybrid scanwell survey, and, partners in the design of the BARTECH30 and BARTECH50.

    Ian Baylis
    Founder, Seacat Services
    Ian Baylis is the Founder of Seacat Services, a company that owns and operates a fleet of class leading offshore energy support vessels. Since founding the firm in 2011, Ian has spearheaded the rapid expansion of the UK-based offshore energy support firm – and, in doing so, played an instrumental part in supporting the growth of the industry, both at home in the UK, throughout Europe and the emerging markets.

    With a current fleet of fourteen multi-million pound, IACS certified catamarans, all built in the UK, the tight-knit team have turned Seacat Services into one of the foremost crew transfer operators in Europe, servicing more than 30 wind farms in UK, Danish and German waters over the past ten years.

    Behind this local and international success are the core values Ian brings from a successful career in the commercial yachting sector – commitment to the highest possible levels of service and reliability, and a drive to constantly improve future standards and best practice. Alongside his work at Seacat Services, Ian is a frequent commentator on the offshore wind industry.

    Bert de Ruiter
    Commercial Manager Work Boats, Acta Marine B.V.
    Bert de Ruiter is commercial manager work boats for Acta Marine. Before joining Acta Marine in 2016 he had 30 years of international experience in (inland) shipping, marine construction, dredging & offshore contracting in different operational positions. He was involved in the construction of several offshore wind parks, oil & gas infrastructure and working both onshore and offshore roles since the year 2000. Bert has ample operational experience working with large DP vessels and is currently marketing - amongst the other units of the Acta Marine fleet - the smaller DP-equipped work boats.

    Within Acta Marine Bert is responsible for providing a variety of clients with suitable solutions to short and long-term vessel requirements and has proven to be an out-of-the-box thinker when it comes to maritime services.

    With a world-wide playing field for the work boats, his focus is mainly on the North-Sea area and the Americas. In 2020 Bert joined the committee of the Workboat Association as a member. Bert is an advocate for the maritime energy transition, has a great personal interest in all developments with new technology and can passionately speak on the steps Acta Marine is taking to position the company for the future.

    Dr. Iain Percy OBE
    CEO, Artemis Technologies
    Iain is a four time Olympian, three time Olympic medallist and double Olympic champion. He is also a veteran of four America’s Cup challenges, beginning in 2005 as helmsman for the +39 Challenge, before joining Great Britain’s America’s Cup challenge, Team Origin.

    After retiring from Olympic competition in 2012, he joined Artemis Racing as a tactician, and was appointed Team Manager in October 2013. Iain then went on to lead the team's successful 35th America's Cup campaign in Bermuda, reaching the Louis Vuitton Challenger Series final in 2017.

    Passionate about protecting the oceans, the economics graduate founded Artemis Technologies in 2017, with a mission to see how America’s Cup technology could play a part in the decarbonization of the maritime industry. He has overseen the company's transition from a sailing services provider, to an applied technologies company focusing on green innovations for marine transportation.
