John Moscatiello is the founder of Marco Learning. He has been a teacher, tutor, and author since 2002. Over the course of his career, John has taught more than 4,000 students, trained hundreds of teachers, written content for 13 test preparation books, and worked as an educational consultant in more than 20 countries around the world.

Carlos Barrera is a National Board-Certified Teacher at Sprayberry
High School in Marietta, GA. He is currently a College Board
consultant, a Question Leader at the 2020 AP Language scoring/reading
and is a current member of the College Board’s AP English Language and
Composition Development committee. He served as the National College
Board Advisor for AP English Language and Composition in 2019-2020. He
will begin a term as a Lead Consultant, responsible for training new
consultants this upcoming year. He has been a frequent presenter at
College Board conferences, including Prepárate: Educating Latinos for
the Future of America and the AP Regional Conferences.

Deborah Aughey, Ed.D., is a 30-year AP English Language and Composition teacher at Kennesaw Mountain High School. Her latest ventures are teaching composition at Kennesaw State University and facilitating AP workshops for the Georgia and Alabama state departments of education. She earned her National Board Certification in 2001 and renewed in 2011. Her academic interests include project-based learning, critical literacy, service learning, and strategies to engage students in writing and collaboration. She enjoys reading,
blogging, cooking, gardening, and keeping bees.
