This workshop will provide an opportunity for UK and European society leaders to meet and discuss the challenging issues they are all facing today with colleagues and peers who are facing similar challenges.
We will kick-off with a short context-setting talk from Simon Inger, and will then break out into small workshops of no more than 10 delegates each. Groups will be asked to abide by rules of confidentiality, and attendees will be expected to be active participants. We will encourage attendees to use their webcams, as well as headsets with mics.
The workshops will cover cost-cutting, human resource issues, revenue challenges, and topics brought by our attendees.
Thanks to our sponsors, places are free, but limited – and only available to staff from Learned and Professional Societies. The Society Street team will assign a break-out group to registrants. If the discussion groups are over-subscribed, we may have to limit registrants.
All groups will reconvene to gather main findings and thoughts, and to create the agenda together for Society Street 2021.
