    Dr Shaheen Khan
    Consultant in Palliative Medicine

    Shaheen graduated from Guy’s, Kings’ and St Thomas’ Medical School having also been awarded a first class BSc honours degree in Neuroscience. He has an MSc in palliative care from Kings’ College London and a postgraduate certificate in clinical leadership.
    His interests include pain management and complex symptom control, advance care planning, risk management, postgraduate medical education and clinical leadership.

    He has held various educational roles including Training Programme Director and Chair of the Palliative Medicine StR training scheme in London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex. He has previously been Joint Chair of the London Opioid Safety and Improvement Group and his current responsibilities include his Clinical Director role at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and his position as joint lead for the King’s Health Partners Palliative Care Clinical Academic Group.
