In this session, Daniel Sobel, a regular SecEd and Headteacher Update author and the Founder of Inclusion Expert, will consider the most common barriers he sees to effective whole-school mental health practices and how we might go about overcoming these issues. The workshop session will consider good mental health for all stakeholders – parents, teaching staff, school leadership, the school community and, of course, the students themselves. For each cohort, Daniel will discuss 2-3 common barriers and will suggest 2-3 best practices to hurdle them in a time and cost efficient way.
