A core part of the new RSHE curriculum relates to LGBTQ+ education. However, these elements can sometimes prove challenging for teachers to deliver effectively. In this session, Adele Bates will offer an overview of the LGBTQ+ elements of the curriculum, how we can teach these effectively for all ages – from primary to secondary – and will signpost a number of useful teaching resources and other support. Adele will also touch upon issues of parental communication and engagement.
