David is currently Head of Music at Beaumont School in St Albans. He writes regularly for Music Teacher magazine, and has consulted on music education for several companies, including the BBC and OCR. He provides CPD for Music HUBs across the country, and has presented at several music education conferences. He is published by Rhinegold Education and Bloomsbury, and maintains a personal blog on music education.
