WEBINAR DETAILS
  • About
Day 2, session 1 of the Primary stream is from Nerys and Mike from Thorntree Academy, Middlesbrough who will dispel the myth that only eligible children can benefit from Pupil Premium spending.

At the Extol Learning Trust, our belief is that having an effective teacher in front of every class – and that supporting every teacher to keep improving – is the key ingredient of a successful school and should rightly be the top priority for Pupil Premium spending. This workshop will explore how our commitment to developing high leverage teaching is impacting on the whole school community at Thorntree Academy in Middlesbrough (65% Pupil Premium). We will consider what this looks like in practice, how it fits into whole-school and classroom-level Pupil Premium & CPD strategies, and what lessons other schools might learn from our work.
