WEBINAR ENDED
The Tees Valley Education MAT consists of four primary schools and one special school. This workshop will take a practical look at a number of the schools’ approaches to remote and blended learning – considering how the strategies work in practice, lessons learned, dos & don’ts and advice for other schools that might wish to adapt and adopt these ideas. Themes will include assessment and the use of the Seesaw App as part of pupil feedback. Andrew and Joanna will also discuss the use of the Showbie service and how this is integrated into the school day.

The workshop will touch upon other teaching and learning approaches & ideas, including the processes, principles and intentions behind their use and why certain approaches work in certain ways. The schools work in areas of economic disadvantage and much of their work has been with disadvantaged families where access to technology has been a challenge. The workshop will include discussion of how the schools have overcome this significant barrier.
