The backstage industries are a ‘dark art’. The job well done is when you don’t notice it at all. There are many creative and technically minded young people who enjoy drama, but not being on stage. Oftentimes, teachers do not know how best to support these students who are usually in the minority.

This talk is designed to empower educators to feel confident with the production process as well as detailing the roles and activities students can use to develop their interests and skills on production and academic work.
Production Arts, like many creative subjects allow for growth in the key skills of confidence, creativity, resilience, resourcefulness, problem solving, literacy, numeracy and communication.
