With the number of children and young people with an Education Health & Care Plan (EHCP) continuing to rise nationally each year, this presentation will focus on how we can improve standards and outcomes for this cohort.

Surely the aim has to be to prioritise both ‘process’ and ‘quality’ together. Feedback from CQC and Ofsted SEND inspections have frequently identified the quality and consistency of EHCPs as a priority ‘improvement’ area for local areas. In addition, there has been a lot of media focus in this area, with large numbers of parents and carers sharing their frustrations at prolonged systems that result in poor quality EHCPs.

Phil Stock will share information on how simple and innovative technology-led solutions are providing reassurance and confidence to schools, settings, children & young people, parents & carers with regards to achieving high standards for EHCPs and Annual Reviews.

Phil Stock, an experienced Principal Education Psychologist, is the Director of Invision360, developing the initial online EHCP Audit Tool concept following his local authority experience in educational Psychology and SEND.

Having spent most of his career working for local authority SEND Services, Phil has first-hand experience of the challenges that exist with Education Health and Care Plans.

Phil has extensive experience of leading SEND/Inclusion and psychology services across state, private and international sectors and has always had a focus on supporting positive outcomes for children and young people with SEND.

As the head Invision360 Phil is the driving force behind the digital solutions which are created in partnership with local authorities to resolve complex service challenges.
