    Dr Asha Patel
    CEO and Clinical Psychologist, Innovating Minds

    Dr Asha Patel (founder of Innovating Minds) is a registered Clinical Psychologist and co-developed the Healing Together facilitators programme. The programme supports children impacted by domestic abuse. This is the first trauma informed programme that equips facilitators with the knowledge and resources they need to provide early intervention with children. Dr Patel is also the mastermind behind EduPod, the online platform that provides training for designated mental health leads that are implementing a whole school approach to mental health. Her clinical experience and contribution to implementation of the mental health leads training has enabled her to support schools and children nationally.

    Monisha Jefcut
    Training Manager in Schools Program, Anna Freud Centre

    Monisha is the Training Manager for the Schools Team at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families. Before joining the Centre Monisha worked as a teacher for 30 years, in her previous post she was a member of a Senior Leadership team who specialised in Behaviour and Safeguarding.
    Having worked in diverse range of schools Monisha has extensive teaching experience and strong understanding of the current challenges within education; she is passionate about providing schools and staff with the knowledge and tools necessary to support children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing.
    At the Anna Freud Centre Monisha takes responsibility for managing a team of School Engagement Trainers as well as leading training across a number of projects including, government initiatives and specialist training packages
