About
Women remain significantly underrepresented in engineering and technology. Only 16.9% of the engineering workforce are women, compared to 56% of other occupations, and the number of female engineers that rise to become leaders is even less.

What needs to be changed to make leadership roles accessible and attractive to women in engineering and how do we tap into top talent from grass roots up, ensuring we reach the broadest range of people to help bridge skills gaps and create a diverse workforce.

Attendees will learn:
1. Breaking down barriers – a career in engineering can start anywhere.
2. How do you get started and make the switch from other careers into engineering
3. How do you become a successful female leader in the engineering and technology world
4. What are the challenges women face to become leaders and how to tackle them
5. Power of mentoring – can it work for you
