About
A Circular economy - one where waste is eliminated and resources circulated - is critical to a sustainable future. And as with most sustainability challenges, manufacturers and engineers are on the front line of this battle.

In this panel session we will bring together experts from different sectors and disciplines to explore the key role that engineers and manufacturers will play in realising the transition to a circular economy and to explore the practical steps they can take to make this happen.

Touching on examples of the circular economy in action, we will consider the challenges and benefits of a circular model for engineering, and look at the tools and technologies that can facilitate this new paradigm of production.

Attendees will learn about:

• Challenges and benefits for manufacturers
• The role of digitalisation
• Practical first steps toward a circular economy
• Skills for a circular economy
