Cynthia has over 20 years’ experience in energy and 5 years specifically in commercial roles within the UK energy flexibility sector. She is passionate about thriving for net zero targets, especially in terms of using flexibility to reach the world’s decarbonizing desires. She specializes in relationship building and account management. Due to her diverse and long experience in the energy sector she has a large network both within the renewables energy sector and traditional utility sector.

Damian Dowling

Business Development Manager UK, Energy Flexibility Solutions, Enel X

After graduating from Trinity College with a Masters in Science, Damian moved from his home city of Dublin to the UK. Initially working as an Environmental Scientist, his background allowed for a diverse energy and sustainability career – from Geophysicist to Sustainability Partnership Manager – over the next 16 years. Even though that experience was grounded on the technical, Damian naturally progressed to a consultative approach on new and existing developments. Later completing a Masters in Psychology, Damian’s approach to projects is lived through a sustainable lens, where Operational, Human Centric and Commercial pillars are addressed equally. Having recently lead the Logistics Segment (UK and Ireland) for Schneider Electric, Damian now works for Enel X, delivering Energy Flexibility solutions across all sectors. The energy concerns of every industry has changed dramatically over the last few years and has left many companies with challenges around sustainability, resiliency, and efficiency. With that focus on the Energy Trilemma, Damian delivers a roadmap through those challenges - ensuring a company’s journey to net-zero is Secure, Affordable and Green.
