Michael is an executive board member of the Cavendish Nuclear business with accountability for international operations and delivery across core (Japan & USA) and growth markets. Michael also has responsibility and leadership of all business winning activity (including business development, bids, marketing) for the Cavendish Nuclear business.

Lynsey Valentine
Cavendish Nuclear Strategy Director & Strategic Advisor, Women in Nuclear UK
Lynsey has been in the nuclear industry for over 20 years, starting out as a graduate technical specialist with the UK Atomic Energy Authority focussed on decommissioning and waste management.

Since then she has undertaken roles in bidding, operations, account management, business development, communications, marketing and strategy development, one of the highlights being her role as Bid Manager on the Magnox Parent Body Organisation (PBO) bid for the management and decommissioning of 12 nuclear sites across the UK.

As Strategy Director for Cavendish Nuclear she is responsible for facilitating the development and delivery of the Cavendish Nuclear Strategic Plan across UK Defence, Civil Decommissioning and Clean Energy markets, with international focus on Japan and the US.

From January 2020 to May 2022 she was President of Women in Nuclear UK whose mission is to address the industry's gender balance, improve the representation of women in leadership and to engage with the public on nuclear issues.
