Affiliate Professor, EDHEC
Cyril Demaria is a renowned international private markets expert with in-depth practical knowledge and academic expertise. He is an Affiliate Professor at EDHEC and collaborates as an expert with the European Commission, Invest Europe, SECA, LPEA and France Invest. He was notably Partner and Head of Private Markets at Wellershoff & Partners and Head of Private Markets at the Chief Investment Office of UBS Wealth Management. He is the author of "Introduction to Private Equity, Debt and Real Assets" (Wiley, 3rd edition, 2020) and "Asset Allocation and Private Markets" (Wiley, 2021).

Chitra Baskar
Chief Operating Officer and Global Head of Funds and Product, Intertrust Group
Chitra Baskar joined Intertrust Group in June 2019 following the acquisition of Viteos where she was co-founder and Chief Operations Officer. Chitra has more than 25 years of experience in the securities market and took on the COO role in December 2020 alongside her existing role of Global Head of Funds & Product. Chitra formerly headed the securities services business of IL&FS, a leading financial services institution in India encompassing custody, clearing, settlement and fund administration. Chitra is a Chartered Accountant with a degree in accounting from Madras University.

Richard Schwartz
Head of Research, Global Custodian
Richard Schwartz is a founder and director of Tungsten Publishing, whose stable of magazines includes Global Custodian and The Trade. He is also the Head of Research at Global Custodian and has written extensively about global financial services for numerous publications. He has a PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics.

Maqbool Mohamed
CFO & COO, Clarion Partners Europe
Mr. Mohamed is the CFO & COO of Clarion Gramercy. Prior to Clarion Gramercy, Mr. Mohamed served as Managing Director & CFO Europe at Castlelake (UK) LLP. Mr. Mohamed has 20 years of experience in the real estate sector having previously also held senior Finance & Operations roles at Grove International Partners, Citi Property Investors and Cargill Value Investment. He started his career in audit with EY in Brussels and is fluent in English, French, Dutch and German.

Patrik Burnäs
Global Head of EQT Fund Operations, EQT AB
Patrik Burnäs joined the EQT Group in 2013 and has since then been responsible for the centralized operations connected to the EQT funds. This includes the fund management function, portfolio company valuations, investor reporting and employee investment schemes. In addition, he is responsible for the fund services activities outsourced to external providers. Patrik studied Business Administration at the Universities in Stockholm and Uppsala, Sweden.
